Roberto Bonfigli
was born in 1989 in Sant'Elpidio a Mare, Italy. He received both Bachelor and Master degree with honours in electronic engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche, Italy, in 2011 and 2014, respectively. He developed at Information Engineering Department the projects for Bachelor and Master thesis which focus on audio DSP, in particular, adaptive filter theory, optimization for beamformers design, and machine learning. He is currently enrolled as a Ph.D. student at Department of Information Engineering at the same university above since September 2014 and his research topics include energy monitoring and load disaggregation in domestic scenarios.
