Marco Fagiani
was born in Fermo (Italy), in 1985. He received the MS degree (with honors) in Electronics Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche, Italy, in 2012 after a thesis developed under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Squartini in automatic sign language recognition. He is currently enrolled as a PhD student at Università Politecnica delle Marche and he is co-funded by the spin-off company DowSee Srl. His PhD research topics include machine learning and computational intelligence, with focus on load forecasting and leakage detection techniques for water and natural gas grids.
